Teams create first for club

For the first time in the club's history, the eight teams playing over the weekend of Saturday 15th May and Sunday 16th May all managed to be victorious...albeit the Fourth XI were helped by a late call off concession!
Our First XI successfully defended a score of 243 against Elmstead Grasshoppers on the last ball, winning by one run. And on Sunday, it was a close run thing for the Ladies who survived 45 minutes of rain delay in order to complete the final six overs and secure a deserved victory over Woodbridge. Other results were more emphatic wins for the Ipswich teams and the pressure is now on for our players to repeat this remarkable feat next weekend.
